Wall framing - Steel stud or timber frame.

Plasterboard - 10mm, 13mm or 16mm thick; single or double layer; standard grade or fire resistant or acoustic

Partition wall insulation

Sound insulation - sound insulation batt in polyester or rockwool

Partition wall fire rating

Fire rating - fire rated plasterboard to be built in accordance to tested system

Partition wall jointing

Plasterboard joint treatment - joint can be stopped with pvc cap, or set and sanded

Wall / ceiling interface - joint between wall and ceiling can be covered with cornice of different design, or square set, or treated with shadow line

Wall / floor interface - joint between wall and floor can be covered with skirting in timber, vinyl or aluminium
